Polly the Trolley and her sister Dolly came to Fernandina Beach in 2005. The sister trolleys are owned and operated by 'First Coast Transportation'. Mr. W. Forhand or 'Willie' as he is known in Fernandina is responsible for providing tours of Amelia Island with history and entertainment in a very comfortable setting.
Most days you will find Polly waiting down at the parking lot at the City Marina waiting to take eager visitors on a leisurely tour of historic Fernandina. Willie loves to share his stories with tourists and locals alike.
When Polly isn't making her usual rounds, she can sometimes be seen doing private tours or simply providing transportation for large groups. It's not unusual to see Polly coming down the street with a beautiful bride and groom onboard going to or from their wedding.
